Website Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-08-13
1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use govern your access to the mithran.ai website and its paths
(the "Site"). Mithran, Inc. ("Mithran", "we", "us") operates the Site.
By opening any page on the Site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Site.
2. What the Site is
The Site is an informational website about Mithran and its products. It publishes descriptions of what we build, written material about our method, customer case material, and a contact form.
The Site sells nothing. It hosts no user accounts. It runs no customer workloads and processes no customer data. Nothing you read on the Site creates a contract for any product or service.
3. What these terms do not cover
These terms apply to the Site and to nothing else. The following sit outside them.
- The Aegis software. The licence we distribute it under governs your use of it. These terms neither change that licence nor grant you any right under it.
- The hosted Forge product. A separate agreement governs access to the hosted product. That agreement is in preparation and is not offered through the Site.
- Customer data handled by our products. A separate customer agreement and a separate data processing agreement will govern that data. Both are in preparation. Neither these terms nor anything on the Site forms either of them.
For how the Site itself handles information about you, read Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
4. Intellectual property
Mithran owns the Site and its content, except where a page identifies the material as belonging to someone else.
You may read the Site and quote short extracts with attribution. You may not copy the Site, or a substantial part of it, for republication or for a commercial purpose, without our written permission.
Mithran™ and Aegis™ are our marks. We have trademark applications on file. Registration is not granted, so we use TM or SM only and we make no claim of registration. Nothing on the Site grants you a right to use our marks or our brand assets.
5. Acceptable use of the Site
When you use the Site, you agree to the following.
- Do not scrape the Site or harvest its content by automated means. Automated
access is permitted only to the extent the applicable
robots.txtallows it. - Do not probe, scan, or test the security of the Site. Do not attempt to reach any part of it that we have not published. Section 6 gives you the route for reporting a weakness instead.
- Do not submit unlawful content, infringing content, or malicious code through the contact form.
- Do not impersonate another person or organisation, and do not misstate your affiliation, when you contact us.
- Do not use the contact form for bulk messaging, for unsolicited commercial messaging, or for automated submission of any kind.
We rate-limit the contact form and reject automated submissions. We may block traffic that breaks these rules.
6. Abuse reports and takedown
Security. Report a vulnerability or a suspected compromise to
security@mithran.ai. Do not open a public issue first. We acknowledge
security reports within two business days.
Content. Report content on the Site that you believe is unlawful or
infringing to legal@mithran.ai. Give us the URL and describe the
problem. Tell us how to reach you. If you claim infringement, identify the work
you own and the right you hold.
We read every report and we reply to the address you give us. We have set no published response time for content reports, and we state none here. Where a report is well founded, we remove or amend the material.
7. What you send us
The contact form sends us your message together with the contact details you type into it. Privacy Policy describes what we do with them.
Treat what you send as non-confidential. We accept no obligation of confidence for anything submitted through the form unless we have agreed one with you in writing beforehand. We use what you send to answer you and to follow up on your enquiry.
Do not send trade secrets through the form. Do not send regulated personal
data, which includes health data, financial account data, government
identifiers, and personal data about children. Do not send material you are not
free to disclose. If you need to give us something sensitive, write to
hello@mithran.ai and ask for a secure route first.
8. Links to other destinations
The Site links to destinations we do not control. A link is a reference, not an endorsement. We are not responsible for what those destinations publish or for how they handle your data. Read their terms and their privacy notices before you use them.
9. Forward-looking statements
Mithran is a pre-launch company. Much of what the Site describes is under development. Read every product description, roadmap item, capability claim, and timeline on the Site as a statement of current intent. None of it is a commitment.
Nothing on the Site is:
- a binding commitment to build a feature;
- a commitment to a delivery date;
- a commitment to a performance, throughput, or availability level;
- a certification or an audit result. Mithran holds no security or AI-management certification, and we make no claim that an audit is under way;
- a warranty that any system, including a system built with our products, will be secure or will resist any particular attack.
We may change what the Site describes at any time, and we may withdraw a described capability before it ships.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
We publish the Site as is and as available. We do not warrant that the Site is accurate, that it is complete, that it is current, or that it will be reachable without interruption.
Information on the Site is general. It is not security advice, legal advice, or professional advice for your situation. Do not act on it without your own assessment.
We take reasonable care with what we publish. You should still scan any file you download from the Site.
11. Limitation of liability
The Site is an informational website that we provide free of charge. To the fullest extent the law allows, Mithran is not liable for indirect loss, consequential loss, lost profit, lost business, or lost data arising from your use of the Site or from your reliance on anything published on it.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims connected with the Site is limited to one hundred United States dollars (US$100).
Nothing in these terms excludes a liability that the law does not permit us to exclude, including liability for fraud or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
12. Changes to the Site and to these terms
We change the Site often. We may add, amend, or remove any page without notice, and we may take the Site down.
We may also change these terms. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top and publish the revised version on the Site. The version published on the Site governs your use of it from the date it appears there. Read these terms again when you return.
13. Governing law and venue
Delaware law governs these terms and any dispute arising out of the Site, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Mithran submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts sitting in Delaware for any such dispute.
Mithran is a Delaware corporation with no establishment outside the United States, so Delaware law and Delaware courts are the natural forum.
